Business After Hours at Suzy's Furniture
The March 2 Business After Hours at Suzy's Furniture, located at 590 S. St. Marys Street in St. Marys, was a resounding success! The event was co-sponsored by the St. Marys Area Chamber of Commerce, the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce, and the Ridgway-Elk County Chamber of Commerce. Marcia Reese of Ridgway won the Grand Prize - a room of carpet (installed)!
2010 Santa Breakfast & Advent Crafts Workshop
St. Marys Area youngsters got a start on the holiday season with the annual Advent Crafts Workshop and Santa Breakfast, held December 4 at the Sacred heart Activity Center. The event, which was sponsored by SMACC along with Allstate Insurance/Beimel & Gerg Agency, C/G Electrodes, and St. Marys Pharmacy, featured "Make And Take" craft projects, decorating cookies (compliments of Giant Eagle), and pictures with Santa by Beimel Photographics. Clifford The Big Red Dog stopped by to give out free books (courtesy of DMHC Parents As Teachers Childrens Center), and of course, there was a breakfast with Santa himself!
