Easter Happening

The Chamber-sponsored Easter Happening held on Saturday, April 8th at the Franklin Center in Downtown St. Marys was a "hopping" success!

The event included Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Tommy Jon's, Pictures by Minds Eye Photography and Easter craft projects for kids of all ages. As the photos show, a good time was had by all that attended.

Our thanks to everyone that helped in any way. This includes: Chris and Holly of Mind's Eye Photography for the great job taking pictures of all the kids; DD's Bakery for supplying the cookies and frosting; Mandy Woelfel and Mary Petrucci and who were wonderful as Easter Bunny and the Chick! (and to Shelly O'Hara for making the adorable costumes); Katie Hake, Amy Brunner, Jackie Woelfel, Kelli Cheatle and David Larkin of the Young Professionals Organization for all their help manning the tables and doing anything and everything we asked of them (we couldn't have done it without you!); Erica Hayes for printing all the photos; Monica Radkowski for running the "jelly bean contest"; Fritz Lecker for organizing all of the craft projects and Express Lube for donating all the supplies; John Salter of 98.9 The River for the great publicity; and anyone else who helped with this event..

The Easter Bunny and The Chick were on hand for photos and fun

Winner of the Jelly Bean Counting Contest was Melina Fox, 2 year old daughter of Gina and Sam Fox of St. Marys. She guessed 2245 - the actual number of jelly beans was 2242
